Description
These striking Mid-Century lanterns showcase a bold Gothic Revival aesthetic, featuring heavy hammered metal frames with intricate clover and geometric pierced gallery work. The larger six-sided lantern is fitted with vibrant ruby red textured “cathedral” glass, while the smaller, more stout five-sided companion features deep amber or dark smoke glass. Both pieces reflect the Spanish Revival influence popular in the 1960s and 70s, complete with heavy hanging chains and wooden handle accents. The metal shows a natural aged patina with some minor surface oxidation and dust accumulation consistent with age; the glass panels appear intact without major cracks, though the wiring is original and remains untested for functionality.
