Description
This is an eastern Woodlands beaded purse possibly dating to the late 19th century Or early 20th century. It features intricate beadwork and a netted geometric design using colors such as black white shades of green and yellow. The purse has a leather drawstring closure at the top. The beadwork is finally detailed indicating a high level of craftsmanship. These bags are considered collectible items reflecting the artistry and cultural heritage of the eastern Woodlands people. Dimensions 5.5” wide x 8.5” long.
