Description
Salish Northwest Coast rectangular basket circa 1930s. Made from woven cedar root or similar natural fibers, showcasing traditional craftsmanship. Features dark brown or reddish-brown base color, with three prominent diamond designs evenly spaced along the exterior on the sides and two diamonds on either end. The basket is suspended by two string handles inserted through the walls of the basket near the rim. Dimensions 11” long x 7” wide x 5” tall. Please see photos.
