Description
Papago Tohono O’odham coiled basket manufactured in the 1960s. It is both functional and artistic reflecting the tribes cultural heritage and environment. The core is either made of Yucca or bear grass. The pattern of this bowl is very faint but is still visible, and it is likely a Kachina pattern. Stitching is tight and there is no loss of material. Dimensions: diameter10.5”, 2” deep.
