Description
Winnebago or Ho-Chunk hand woven gathering basket circa 1950’s. Handcrafted with interwoven strips of wood featuring a sturdy swivel handle. The basket is woven with a beautiful diamond pattern in a band around the upper portion of the basket. Dimensions are 14.5” wide x 15” long x 10.75” tall. Height with handle is approximately 17.5”. It is in fairly good condition with some breaks in the fabric of the basket, including a corner of the basket where the running diamond pattern is missing.
