Description
This black and red on white polychrome pot was made at Laguna Pueblo New Mexico and attributed to the 1920s. It features a mix of geometric lines as well as floral designs incorporated within. The surface of the pot exhibits A fair amount of spalling, consistent with age. The base of the pot has worn away and the underlying clay is visible. Label affixed to the base reads “Laguna C1920” Overall the pot is sound with no visible structural cracks. Dimensions: 7.25” at widest, 4.25” rim diameter, 6” tall, 2.5” diameter base.
