Description
A truly beautiful 1920’s-30’s table lamp in the style of renowned makers like Handel or Bradley & Hubbard. The shade is the star of the show, featuring eight bent panels of sunset and green slag glass, overlaid with a highly detailed and charming Japanese-style landscape scene of bridges and cranes. An elaborate and colorful glass beaded fringe completes the stunning look. The cast metal base is decorated with complementary bamboo and floral motifs. The base shows significant wear to the patina, consistent with its age. Several of the glass panels have cracks, and the beaded fringe is largely intact. The three-socket cluster is aged and the power cord is a later replacement. Measures 24″ tall with a shade diameter of 20″.
