Description
A quintessential and very fine example of an Art Nouveau slag glass lamp from the early 20th century. This lamp features a classic and highly desirable eight-panel wrapped design, with a crown of warm caramel slag glass above a skirt of rich green panels. The delicate and intricate floral filigree overlay is beautifully executed, adding a layer of artistry and sophistication. The slender, reeded base with its organic, floral foot is a perfect complement to the shade. The lamp is in VG original condition, with all glass panels free of cracks and a lovely, stable patina on the metalwork. The shade could use a good cleaning. Measures 22.5″ tall with a shade diameter of 20″.
