Manufactured by the famed Exhibit Supply Co. of Chicago in 1934, and known as the “Golden Gate” this is a classic wood-rail pre flipper pinball machine represents the Golden Gate Bridge with sea planes taking off and landing along with sailboats tacking back and forth. This game appears on a list of games made from 1931-1939 which was published in the January 1940 issue of the Coin Machine Journal. The machine features a handsome wood cabinet, its original detachable legs(34″ long each), and Art Deco-inspired graphics on the playfield. Circa 1940’s cast aluminum carousel horse most likely from a San Antonio Roller Works or a Mangles carousel. All we know is that it came off of a carousel that was parted out in southern Illinois in the 1970’s. The horse is a jumper with very nice paint. Comes mounted on a pole and a steel diamond plate base. Comes with a pair of stirrups but no straps or bridle.
