Description
“Man’s Confidence in Man” is a life size bronze sculpture by Georg J. Lober (1891-1961) commissioned by Dunn & Bradstreet for their offices at 99 Church Street in New York. This smaller bronze, which may have been cast from the maquette, was presented by Lober to Eugene V. Reichstetter, Chairman of the Board of Dunn & Bradstreet. It measures 25″ tall, 23.5″ wide, 12.5″ deep. It has a beautiful verde finish and is in VG condition. Signed Georg Lober on the back next to the wagon wheel. Included are 2 b&w picture postcards of the model (maquette), a business card from Dunn & Bradstreet COB, Eugene V. Reichstetter, and an 8 X 7 b&w UPI photo of Georg Lober from 1953.
