Description
A fantastic and authentic piece of mid-century gas station advertising! This is an original wire display rack for STP Oil Treatment, dating to the late 1950s or early 60s. The colorful tin sign at the top features the classic atomic-age STP logo and the early “German Developed” marketing slogan. What makes this piece exceptionally charming are the original paper shelf inserts that cheekily read “GONE TO WORK.” It’s a wonderful find for any collector of automobilia or vintage advertising. The wire rack shows some surface rust, and the tin sign has minor scuffs and age-related discoloration but presents very well. H 32”, W 17″, D 14″. See photos.
