Description
Here is an early production, split ring and nut, M8 Grenade Launcher for the M1 Carbine manufactured by the Knapp Monarch Co. of St Louis MO. This variation of the launcher features the distinct rounded lower radiused bottom clamp that was part of the initial production drawings in May 1943. The launcher is in excellent condition, exhibiting 90% of its original factory parkerized finish. The wing nut threads smoothly, and the hinges move freely.
