Description
An early model, split ring and nut, M8 Grenade Launcher for the M1 Carbine manufactured by the Reliance Machine Tool Corp. of Long Island NY. This variation of the launcher removed the lower radiused bottom clamp which was shown in the second drawing design in June 1943. The launcher is in excellent condition, exhibiting 95% of its original factory parkerized finish. The wing nut threads smoothly, and the hinges move freely.
