Description
Good example of a Navy Special with an anchor and characters representing “Special Type Navy 99” on the top of the receiver. The gun has
a matching : Receiver, Bolt, & Bayonet lug. ( Safety & firing pin are mismatched). There is the addition of 2 inspection numbers with the Department of Control -Navy stamp.
There is a heavy impact dent on the right side of the stock, with a “faint” name of the veteran on the right side. Overall the rifle shows war time use, and sought after with the well defined anchor on the receiver.
