Description
Very nice example of a Navy Special Type 99 exhibiting very little wear. Top of receiver displays an anchor & the symbol for Special Type 99. Receiver & bolt are numbers, ( could not open bolt to check firing pin ) other numbers are 114 on the side of the receiver & 421 with an inspection mark forward of the receiver. Most major parts are cast Iron including the receiver. The “Specials” do not have fittings for slings The stock has an added attraction of 4 kanji characters painted on the right side.
