Lot 2144:
Pair of M1910 mounted cartridge belts. A late WWI manufacture belt Stamped “PB&CO” and “6768” in a pocket on either side of the belt, and “PB&CO AUG 1918 on the central joining webbed belt. Material is salty in some areas, but no fraying or damage to the textile. Overall good condition. Secondly, is an M1923 model, that has “U.S.” stamped in black on the front pocket in the proper place. The pockets have the snap strap for securing en bloc clips for the M1 Garand. This example looks to have been surplus given to the Greek Army post-WWII. Greek letters “I Y and Theta” as well as “G-5″stamped in black ink on back of one side. Also marked “HS.. and 1943” but possibly modified after. See photos.
