WWII era Carl Eickhorn made German Officer’s sword and scabbard. Nickel plated guard with black twisted-wire wrapped handle (intact and solid). Leather washer present and intact. Marked “Carl Eickhorn Solingen” on Ricasso. Mild to moderate surface corrosion on guard, blade. 3 small cuts on back of blade (12”, 24.25” and 33” from the tip). Scabbard is complete with all of its fittings and there are no dents or creases in it. Surface corrosion on par with sword. Sword length: 39.25” overall. Blade length 32.5”, and 34.5” to guard. Scabbard length 35.25”. Please see photos.
