Description
INERT AND DISARMED Hollow iron round artillery shell, for an 8-inch siege mortar. It weighs 44 pounds/19.95 kilograms, and is 8″ in diameter. Hole 1-1/4” diam leads to center hollow portion. It is flanked by two grooves to accept the pincers of cannonball lifter. This cannonball was part of the Civil War and Indian War display at Donley’s Wild West Town Museum for 45 years.
