Description
US Civil War Model 1840 with PDL (Peter D. Luneschloss) logo on one side of ricasso and “Tiffany & Co New York” on the other side of ricasso. Tip is good. Blade has couple or dings and show much wear and in/out marks but no serious pitting. Blade is 35.5″ and overall length is 43.125″. The brick brown leather wrap has good medium color and wire wrap is very tight. Steel crossguard and pummel have much old pitting. Steel scabbard has shows much age and wear and has nor dents. We have other Tiffany swords in this auction and are always sought after.
