Nice clear studio 1/6 plate tintype of a Union soldier in uniform standing at attention wearing his belt with cap box and cartridge box with his bayonet fixed musket at his side. Belt buckle and breast plate have gold embellishment and his cheeks have been tinted rose. Image in VG condition. Mounted behind an oval gold matte in a typical leatherette case with a poorly restored tape hinge.
