Description
This sword is marked “EMERSON & SILVER” over “TRENTON N.J.” on one side and the other is “U.S.” over “DFM” over “1863”. The blade is in very clean condition with no chips or nicks with tip being sharp. Blade is 31.875″ and overall is 39″. Brass crossguard is also marked “DVM”. Handle and crossguard show wear and age. The scabbard is free of dents and brass end cap has some minor dents. One of the scarcer swords from the Civil war.
