At center is long triangular opening with sliding sight. Bottom is marked “1000” and graduates up to “100.” One side reads”Infantry 70.86 inches” and on the other “Cavalry 98.43 inches.” Maker marked on bottom “Geo. W. Simons & Bro. Manfrd. Phila.” Item is complete with 23″ twine with brass ball ends and t-bar watch fob chain. Also has the ORIGINAL chamois storage bag. The Condition is very good for all parts. bag is a bit stiff and shows wear but is still supple. Holes were punched for straw-string but it looks like it was never strung.
