Circa 1918 Regina Hexaphone Model 103 in VG original condition. The Hexaphone was the first commercially successful coin operated cylinder phonograph that offered a selection (hex for 6 records). Made by the Regina Co. of Rahway NJ. This is a nice original machine. The oak cabinet has the original finish. Oak horn is VG with no splits or cracks. The bottom piece of the hinged lid has been replaced and the locking bar is not there so the lid will no longer lock. The door has the original lock and key. The interior cash box and cash box door are missing. The 6 cylinder mechanism accepts coins (5c), allows manual selection, winds, plays, and shuts down properly. The oak marquee and show card are high quality reproductions. Measures 49″ tall (add 14″ for removable marquee), 24″ wide, 17″ deep.
