Antique Radios, Consoles, and Chassis
Lot 1131:
Inspired by the first successful manned mission to the moon, Electrohome launched its Apollo series of stereo combos and record players in 1970, one year after the moonwalk. In overall VG condition. Powers up and plays well on radio and record functions. It will need an antennae wire. The stainless steel pedestal is very nice with a few small scratches and the original stereo ball speakers have their stands. The smoke colered plexiglass dome is VG with a few scratches but probably one of the nicest we have seen. Comes with an extra pair of Panasonic Model SB-S36 ball speakers with no stands. A beautiful seldom seen piece of outer space inspired design. Measures 33" tall with dome, 20" in diameter.
