Nice 1920’s-30’s style Howard GD 8 radio. Howard was a major player in both broadcast receivers and communications receivers prior to W.W.II. The Howard Radio Company was located at 1731-35 Belmont Avenue in Chicago. Walnut cabinet in overall VG condition original finish with some varnish peeling on the top of the cabinet. Chasis looks good but is untested. Original cloth covered power cord nreeds replacement. Cabinet measures 54" tall, 28" wide, 18" deep. From the Wayne Wolf collection
