**THIS LOT, AND ALL ITEMS IN THIS AUCTION, ARE INERT AND DEMILITARIZED** From the Jim Geibel Collection. Very small flash-bang hand grenade. Type Designator/Model: Unknown Cal./Size: ?-inch diameter and 4-inches high Color: Black
Manufacturer: Unknown. Country of Origin: United States (assumed). The very small plastic body has circumferential grooves around it. There is one hole in the base of the body. There are no markings on the body. The word “INERT” is handwritten on the top of the fuze.
2) Small cylindrical double bang hand grenade. Type Designator/Model: Unknown. Cal./Size: 1 ?-inches in diameter and 4 ?-inches high Color: Dark green with markings in black and white. Manufacturer: Unknown
Country of Origin: Germany This grenade has eight emission holes on the side of the body. A large plug with spanner holes in on the base of the grenade body. On the black plastic fuze body the markings “aW” are embossed in the plastic. Markings printed in white on the body are “SOUND & FLASH; 9 BANG – Delay: Approx. 0. (the rest of the number is missing); Produced: 02/94”. Printed in black on the body is “DUMMY”. Printed in white is “SOUND & FLASH; 2 Bang-Delay: approx. 1.5s; Produced: 05/93”.

The body has 8 emission holes in the side. There is a small threaded hole in the base of the body. In place of a fuze there are remnants of a firing wire epoxied into the fuze well. Markings stenciled on the side of the body are “IRRITATIONSKÖRPER; DOPPEL-KNALL, elektr.
Zündung; LOS NIC-95/111-04”. That translates to “Irritation body; double bang; electric ignition; lot number”. Some of the paint has been chipped off the body.
