Type Designator/Model: F18-A. Cal./Size: 2 ?-inches in diameter and 5 ¾-inches high Color: Light and dark green with yellow markings Manufacturer: Federal Laboratories, Inc. Country of Origin: United States
Trainer: Yes. The sheet metal body of this grenade has no emission holes on the top. There is one emission hole in the base that has foil over it. There are no markings on the silver fuze safety handle. There is some corrosion on the fuze safety handle. Markings on the body are “F18; GRENADE HAND SMOKE; GREEN; warnings, discharge, cautions and manufacturer’s logo and data. There is also one yellow band around the body. The top of the grenade is a much lighter green than the body. 2) Cylindrical can shaped dummy hand grenade

Color: Dark green. Manufacturer: Lake Erie Chemical Company. Country of Origin: United States. The aluminum body has four tape covered emission holes on the top. There are no markings on the grenade body. The top of the fuze safety handle is marked “LAKE ERIE; CHEMICAL CO; CLEVELAND O U.S.A.; LOT”. Color: Aluminum with blue markings Manufacturer: Federal Laboratories, Inc. Country of Origin: United States. Trainer: Yes. The aluminum body is in three sections stacked together. There are four foil covered emission holes on the top and one on the bottom. There are no markings on the fuze safety spoon. There is minor corrosion on the fuze safety handle. Stamped into the aluminum base is “FLI”. Markings on the body are “515 CS; TRIPLE CHASER GRENADE; LOT 190; warnings, discharge, and caution data. There are also two blue rectangles on the body. 4)Cylindrical bodied tear agent hand grenade

Color: Silver with blue markings Manufacturer: Unknown Country of Origin: United States Trainer: Yes. The aluminum body of this grenade has one large foil covered emission hole in the base and four small ones on the top. There are no markings on the silver fuze safety handle. Markings on the body are “ M-518; RIOT; CS; discharge, warning and medical aid data; MADE IN THE U.S.A.; MFG. 1987”. Stamped into the base is “FLI”. There is one blue band around the grenade. 5)Tin can appearing aluminum bodied tear agent hand grenade

Manufacturer: No doubt Combined Tactical Systems, but the grenade is not marked
Country of Origin: United States. Trainer: Yes. Aluminum body with three foil covered emission holes near the base. The unmarked striker release fuze has a unique blue plastic shroud around it. Markings on the body are “517 CS; FLAMELESS GRENADE; Chemical Irritating Agent (CS); SMOKE; warnings and instructions”. AS can be seen, the CS is distributed in a smoke cloud.
