Lot 1081:
German Royal Wurttemberg .70 (about) 40″ Musket in very good condition with some wear and slight oxidation. The Royal Wurttemberg gun company was in business 1815-74, and was a large supplier of weapons in the US Civil War. This musket appears to originally have been a flintlock and converted to cap & ball, probably before the war. It also looks to have been beautifully restored in the years past and taken well care of since! Lock plate is engraved “Koenig Wertt Fabrik” C&R Eligible S/N:nsn
