Additional Description: This ball was given to Chicago Cubs Comptroller – Frank Ellis by P.K. Wrigley, following a May 22nd, 1933, game vs. Philadelphia Phillies. Gabby Hartnett retrieved the autographs from the players in the locker room, following the game. This is essentially the same Cubs team that played the NY York Yankees eight months earlier, in the Babe Ruth “Called Shot” World Series game at Wrigley Field. The ball was passed on by Frank Ellis grandson Matthew, to Michael O’Neill over fifty years ago.
