Additional Description: This incredibly detailed mini sculpture is of Babe Ruth in his final year with the Boston Red Sox in 1919. In this year, Ruth transitioned more from a star pitcher into a full-time hitter. He set a new MLB single-season record by hitting 29 home runs but was sold to the New York Yankees on December 26th 1919, sparking a famous championship drought. The COA included with this piece is signed by both artist Palmer Murphy and Babe Ruth’s granddaughter, ..Linda Ruth.
