Description

A pair of Miller Morris Recording Blank brown wax phonograph cylinders from the 1970’s – 80’s, a true treat for early recorded sound enthusiasts. These cylinders beautifully represent the golden era of acoustic recording, manufactured by Miller Morris with their distinct molded rims. The lids feature clear, hand-written titles: “If Washington Should Come to Life” by Billy Murray (#1001A) and “Crazy Rhythm” by Vince Giordano’s Night Hawks (5001). Both brown wax cylinders are in excellent physical condition, showing remarkably smooth, clean surfaces free of heavy mold or deep scratching, while the original cardboard storage tubes display minor exterior scuffs and light surface wear.. Each H 4.5″, W 2.75″, D 2.75″. Please see photos for condition. From the Allen Koenigsberg collection.
