Description
Columbia AT cylinder phonograph with Bettini reproducer attachment mounted in a Hawthorne & Sheble Co. oak floor cabinet with a hinged glass cover. Cabinet has 4 large locking drawers (with key) that each hold 24 cylinders on wood pegs (all present). Cabinet drawers are missing small amounts of the decorative beading on the drawers most of which is in one of the drawers. The drawers all have original cast brass pulls. The cabinet sets on cast brass paw feet. Lid has beveled glass on top and all 4 sides in VG condition. The phonograph is a Columbia Type AT in good original condition with good paint and fair decal with good plating on bedplate. Missing 2 machine screws holding top mech to bedplate. Has a Bettini attachment and reproducer with a good spider, diaphragm, and stylus. Motor winds and runs well. Mandrel spins freely. No horn included. Cabinet measures 44″ tall, 30.5″ wide, 16.75″ deep. From the Allen Koenigsberg collection.
