Description

Original and desirable 1907 Buffalo Bill Wild West Show Program. This 1907 Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show Program is a rare and significant piece of historical and collectible art. It features a die-cut design that conforms to the contours of a Native American Sioux Chief Iron Tail’s face, making it a unique and sought-after item among collectors. The program includes extensive text and illustrations related to the show, its history, and the performances of the Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show. It is a testament to the show’s popularity and the artistic talent of its performers. Produced by The Courier Co. of Buffalo, New York, the 32-page interior features a rare localized performance imprint for Baltimore on May 20 & 21. Objectively assessing its condition, this paper relic shows heavy, age-appropriate wear; the delicate die-cut edges exhibit tattering and paper loss along the margins, the spine displays splitting though the binding remains complete, an early clear tape repair is present on the inside margin of the back page, and the interior pages show pervasive toning, browning, and handling smudges.
