Description
This complete souvenir booklet documenting the historic 1909 combination of “Buffalo Bill’s Wild West and Pawnee Bill’s Great Far East” show is a true thrill. Published by The Courier Co. of Buffalo, New York, this softcover program features a distinctive, wavy die-cut edge design framing magnificent color lithograph portraits of William F. Cody and Gordon William Lillie on the covers. The inner pages are heavily illustrated with detailed monochrome halftones and vibrant multi-color lithographic plates detailing spectacles like the “Battle of Summit Springs,” cowboy football, and diverse international acts. Objectively, the antique paper shows expected signs of age and wear, including general page toning, minor tearing, edge chipping, and paper loss concentrated along the fragile die-cut margins and spine, though the binding remains complete and in fairly stable, decent shape. H 9.5″, W 7.25″, D 0.25″. Please see photos for condition.
