Description
This is a beautiful Winchester Model 1895 High Grade lever-action rifle, chambered in the versatile .30-06 Springfield. This exquisite firearm celebrates Theodore Roosevelt’s legendary African safari rifle and features an elegantly engraved, silver-nitride finished receiver adorned with detailed gold-inlaid wildlife scenes. This rifle boasts a rich, high-gloss walnut stock with crisp checkering, a gold-plated trigger, a buckhorn rear sight, and a traditional tang safety. It comes complete with its original factory inserts and illustrated box. The firearm is in excellent condition and only tested fired at the factory. The overall rifle shows no visible wear, scratches, or handle marks on the wood or metal surfaces, consistent with being new in the box. The outer cardboard box shows some minor shelf wear, scuffing, and light staining from storage but is structurally sound. The bore and rifling are mint. Mechanically, the action and trigger are tight and appear to function properly. This rifle is pristine and looks like it just left the showroom floor. Please see photos for overall condition.
