Coin Op & Advertising - Spring Classic Part 1 - Day 3
Lot 2361:
Description
This is a classic schoolhouse-style regulator wall clock, featuring a handsome octagonal oak-finished case and a glass-front pendulum door accented with “Regulator” gold-tone lettering. The timepiece utilizes a spring-driven movement with a white dial displaying Roman numerals and an inner minute track. While reminiscent of late 19th-century American designs by manufacturers like Seth Thomas or Ansonia, the “China” marking on the dial indicates this is a modern reproduction designed for functional decor. The piece remains in good operational condition and includes its original winding key. Visually, the wood case shows minimal wear with some very light surface scratches and minor oxidation on the metal pendulum bob, but it maintains a clean and polished appearance overall. H 31″, W 17.5″, D 6″. Please see photos for condition.
