Description
As a collector of whimsical folk art and vintage curiosities, I find these charming, posable clown figures particularly delightful. These appear to be mid-to-late 20th-century decorative marionette-style dolls, expertly crafted to sit on miniature wooden swings. One clown features a classic harlequin-inspired outfit with a multi-colored geometric pattern, a pointed hat, and a cream-colored ruffle collar. Its companion sports a more rustic ensemble, characterized by a brown and cream plaid hat, matching trousers, and a vibrant green bow tie. Both figures feature painted porcelain-style faces, expressive features, and soft, stuffed bodies, showcasing meticulous attention to detail in their costuming.
