Archangel Michael Slaying the Sinners on Canvas, painting by Joseph Falconbridge, an artist primarily remembered as a sign painter, also produced large-scale, classical and religious works, dramatic scene depicts the archangel Michael and celestial forces, including a Pegasus, engaging in a battle against figures within a grand, classical temple setting, signed in bottom left corner, oil on canvas stapled to wood frame, a couple very minor scratches, good condition, see photos.
