Description
A rare 10 note Gabriel automobile horn with the keyboard. In overall good but unrestored condition, it measures 39.5″ long, 9″ wide, 4.5″ deep. These 10 note horns seldom turn up and almost never with the original keyboard. The Gabriel Horn Manufacturing Company was founded in 1904 in Cleveland, Ohio, by entrepreneur and musician Claude H. Foster. Combining his passions for mechanics and the trombone, Foster invented a multi-tone automobile horn powered by exhaust gases. Named after the Angel Gabriel, the horn became a popular accessory for luxury cars worldwide.
