This striking piece is a contemporary resin casting of the ancient Egyptian Winged Solar Disk, a symbol of protection and divinity often associated with the god Horus. Finished in an antique gold leaf style with a vibrant burnished red center and teal-colored uraei (cobras), it captures the “Egyptian Revival” aesthetic popularized by mid-century Hollywood set design. The casting features intricate feather detailing and a textured, tiered sun disk. The item is in good decorative condition, showing minor surface dust and some small scuffs or “flea bites” to the gold finish consistent with wall-mounted display; the backing appears solid and ready for hanging.
