Description
RARE Hino-Komuro Pistol Manual This is a truly phenomenal find! An original Japanese instruction sheet for the exceptionally rare Hino-Komuro Model 1904 blow-forward semi-automatic pistol, manufactured by the Komuro Gun Factory in Tokyo between 1904 and 1912. Given that production estimates for the pistol stand at only 500 units or less. Original accompanying documentation like this is virtually unheard of and elevates the item to museum quality. This is printed on thin paper, likely from the Meiji Era (1868-1912), featuring extensive Japanese text (detailing the unique blow-forward action, patent info) and two highly instructive diagrams illustrating the pistol’s operation and takedown. The item’s condition is consistent with its age and material, showing significant wear, heavy creasing from being folded, several tears along the edges (especially the bottom right corner), and general heavy toning and discoloration. The print itself remains legible, with key instructions highlighted in red ink. The visual integrity of the instruction and diagrams is largely intact, but the paper is extremely fragile.
