Mid-19th century Bezer muzzle loading, percussion cap Punt rife. This big bore, muzzle loading rifle displays the manufacturer name, “BEZER” on the lock plate. The rifle features a single piece walnut stock that shows wear from storage and use. Portion of the stock has been re-laminated, however, there are no visible cracks. It has 48.25-inch, round, smooth bore barrel. All metal work shows oxidation. The bore needs cleaning and has oxidation. The metal ramrod measures 47 1/8- inches, and shows oxidation. The hammer and trigger actions are smooth and tight. No sign of a serial number. Overall, the rifle is a good display piece. The overall length of the rifle is 64 ½ inches.
