Description
Pair of Sioux beaded moccasins circa 1890s. They are constructed from a tanned hide and adorned with intricate beadwork and a geometric pattern featuring green red and white glass seed trade beads. The beadwork appears to be sewn using a lazy stitch technique, a common method 4 planes Indians beadwork. The moccasins are in good condition for their age with minimal loss of beads (one spot insole of right example). Dimensions: 10”x4”x2” each moccasin. See photos.
