Description
Pair of Sioux beaded moccasins circa 1950s. They feature intricate multicolored beadwork predominantly red white blue and yellow covering the top portion, utilizing glass seed beads. The beadwork design includes geometric patterns with prominent heart-shaped red fields on upper potion, and linear motif around the edges. The body is soft and supple buckskin and the sole is a hard leather, typical of Plains Indian moccasins, and exhibits wear. In very good shape with no bead loss. Dimensions: 12”x4.5”x3” each moccasin. See photos.
