Description
This is a beaded awl case is likely from the Plains Indian region circa 1880s. Cases like this were used to protect and carry sharp awls. These cases were often decorated with intricate beadwork such as this one, utilizing glass seed beads of green, blue, gold, yellow, dark blue, red, and white. Dimensions: 12.5” long x 1.5” wide w/flap. See photos.
