Description
An iconic workhorse of the American farm, this is a 1 1/2 HP McCormick-Deering Model M stationary engine by International Harvester. These dependable flywheel engines powered everything from water pumps to feed grinders and were essential to farm life for decades. This example appears to have an older restoration in the classic IHC red paint, which now shows some chips and wear. It looks to be largely complete with its WICO magneto and starting crank, and comes on a set of stenciled wooden transport skids. Missing the spark plug to magneto wire, and the oiler. Turns over with crank with light ocmpression. Wood skid has damage. The data plate is present but heavily weathered. Measures 32″ long, 20″ tall, 24″ wide.
