October Fall Classic
Lot 1039b:
Description
A collector’s lot composed of various arcade or slot machine components primarily dating from the Mid-Century era (1950s-1970s). The assortment includes both functional and ornamental parts mix of repair stock or a teardown from multiple machines. Key components are the metal “gun-sight” mechanism plates likely used for a pin-ball or shooting gallery machine, several machined aluminum or galvanized metal plates and covers, various clear and translucent plastic/glass panels for light boxes or score displays, and several pieces of chrome-plated die-cast metal trim including one marked “SPECIAL AWARD 777 $10.” Also included is a “CASINO MONTE CARLO” brass key tag, various brass keys and lock cylinders (one still in a PYCM Made in Hong Kong box), and small hardware packets. The visible materials are predominantly steel, aluminum, brass, and glass/plastic. Condition is mixed; the mechanism plates show heavy patina and oxidation consistent with use and age, the metal covers have scratches and surface dirt, and the glass/plastic panels are heavily scuffed, clouded, and show cracks and edge wear. The chrome award plate retains a good shine but has pitting. Grouped in a box H 9″, W 8″, D 13″.
