Description
This fur felt hat has 3″ wide brim featuring two rows of stitching reinforcement at the edge of the 6″ tall crown. The brim on right side is turned up and secured the regulation stamped eagle device. The original worsted red artillery hat cord are set at the base of the crown. Has 12″ long black ostrich plume. The inside has 2.25″ wide brown leather sweatband. The inside crown has glass-black label lettered “U.S. Army”. The condition is very good. Three short closed tears along the front of the brim with the largest being 1″. The eagle plate prongs are reinforced with old masking tape on inside crown.
