Leeds & Northrup Wheatstone Resistance Bridge, manufactured in Philadelphia, PA, Model 4340, Serial #187127designed primarily for laboratory and educational environments, operates on the Wheatstone bridge principle to accurately measure electrical resistance, utilizes a highly uniform physical slide wire positioned along the central wooden ruler scale, users adjust the decade resistor knobs and slide the central metal contact along the wire until an externally connected galvanometer reads zero, polished wood chassis, heavy brass binding terminals and black control knobs, age-related wear, untested, as-is, good condition, see photos. 19″ x 7 1/2″ x 2″
