Antique Western Stoneware 5-Gallon Two-Tone Jug, manufactured by the Western Stoneware Company out of Monmouth, IL, round oval stamp near bottom base, produced during the 1920s/30s, classic “beehive” whiskey jug with a distinctive Albany-slip brown glazed top half and a Bristol-slip off-white glazed bottom, large “5” on front, molded handle intact, no cracks or fractures, tiny chips, scuffs and scratches, some rub marks on backside, body is smooth with no glaring defects, very good condition, see photos.
